THIS WEBSITE is here to celebrate the music of BREAD, and to keep all of you updated on the developments of 'A SWEET SURRENDER', the very first biography of the band, the original 1970's soft rock sensation. However, it is the intention of this project to highlight the fact that Bread weren't just a 'soft rock' band, or indeed the FIRST 'soft-rock' band, but were actually five extremely talented and versatile musicians who, by a twist of fate (and a number of nifty tunes) were deemed to be the leading purveyors of this genre.
